CIVIL SERVICE TRANSFORMATION

The Civil Service Transformation Department is one of the Departments under Service Policies & Strategies Office. The Department is divided into 4 (four) divisions namely: Organization Culture & Ethics; CRS Coordination; SERVICOM; and Technology & Innovations.

FUNCTIONS

  • Civil service values and culture definition and management
  • Ethics awareness campaigns
  • Organizational Culture survey and related initiatives
  • Civil service week coordination
  • Coordinating, implementing and driving CSR initiatives (Pillar 4 of NSPSR)
  • Monitoring and reporting of implementation of initiatives
  • Maintain Institutional linkages, strategic alliances and networks on CS Reform
  • Lead service improvement
  • Facilitate the development and review of service charters
  • Monitor implementation of service charters
  • Manage customer relations
  • Oversee the OHCSF reception
  • ICT strategy and policies service-wide
  • Innovation strategies and policies e.g. e-government
  • Knowledge management including communities of practice
  • Propagate and support change management in the civil service
