SERVICE-WIDE WORKSHOP ON PERFORMANCE
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (PMS)
The Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan has given approval for the roll-out of Service-wide training on Performance Management System (PMS) for selected Federal Public Servants from various ministries, Extra-ministerial Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
Performance Management System is one of the programmes in the Federal Civil Service Strategy Implementation Plan (FCSSIP) 2017-2020. It is a veritable tool for tracking progress against goals and personal development.
The Performance Management Training is a continuation in the series which started in August. The training will focus on imparting the skills and knowledge of Job Objective Setting, Appraisal and Rewards System on participants.
Nominees from various MDAs for the training are grouped into Twelve (12) batches of One Hundred and Fifty (150) persons. Each batch will be trained for Three (3) days. The training which will run back to back will commence from 16th November, 2020 to 30th January, 2021.
The venue is the Public Service Institute at, Kubwa.
