REGULAR EXERCISE ENHANCES PRODUCTIVITY – HOS
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi- Esan has reiterated the need for Civil Servants to engage in regular fitness exercise to promote discipline, longevity and enhances productivity. She emphasized that regular exercise improves performance of officers on their job and also enhance discipline in the service.
Dr. Yemi- Esan made this declaration when she received in audience the Federation of Public Service Games (FEPSGA) led by the National President, Mr. Aloku Amaebi, in Abuja on Tuesday, 24th November, 2020.
Dr. Yemi-Esan commended FEPSGA for its doggedness in sustaining civil service games in spite of scarce resources. She charged them not to relent in their efforts to strategize and involve more civil servants in the games.
HoS further promised that she and her team of Permanent Secretaries will encourage FEPSGA in its various activities especially in its monthly fitness exercise.
Earlier in his remarks, the National President of FEPSGA, Mr. Aloku Amaebi, applauded the Head of Service for her enormous contributions. He stated that “your works speak for you and your numerous contributions are already in the archivesâ€.
The occasion was also used to decorate the HoS as Grand Patron of FEPSGA in acknowledgment of all her contributions.
