Overview:
Service Delivery is one of the departments of the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation. It is
saddled with the responsibility of developing and implementing Performance of Service Charters in OHCSF
and its Parastatals. The Service Delivery Department fosters sustainable national development by formulating
and implementing Service Charters in the OHCSF. It is also responsible for managing service delivery programs
towards attainment of objectives and achievement of the OHCSF’s mandate.
The department is divided into two distinct units:
– SERVICOM Unit
– Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (UNIT)
Departmental Activities
The Following are the Departmental Activities of Service Delivery Department:
- Facilitate the development and review of service charters.
- Monitor implementation and performance of service charters in the OHCSF and its Parastatals.
- Co-ordinate, receive and evaluate Charters from Departments, Parastatals and Agencies.
- Spearhead the OHCSF Strategy for improvement of service delivery through the Epic Culture ethos
- and SERVICOM compliance.
- Manage the OHCSF customer relation policy including providing opportunities for customer feedback
- on services.
- Institute complaint/grievance procedure including redress mechanisms for the OHCSF and its
- Parastatals.
- Conduct in-house capacity building/training programs for SERVICOM officers in the OHCSF.
- Conduct periodic sensitization workshops for all staff on SERVICOM and Executive Orders to
- establish a charter of culture change.
- Ensure that Ministries and all MDAs publish their service line Agreements required for
- implementation of EO.001.
- Receive letters/petition on corruption cases.
- System study/review.
- Budget monitoring & implementation.
- ACTU Service Wide meeting.
- Sensitization on Anti-Corruption.
