The Ag Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan has reiterated the high premium Federal Government places on training. This according to her is responsible for the numerous training programmes being organized by the Civil Service at different levels for civil servants.
The Ag Head of Civil Service of the Federation made this revelation at the one day induction training in the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation on Wednesday, 26th February, 2020.
The Permanent Secretary, Special Duties Office, Mr. Temitope Fashedemi who represented the Ag Head of Service at the occasion said, the induction training is designed to give an insight into the workings of the service and that, it is very fundamental to the career of any civil servant.
Mr. Fashedemi said since civil servants constitute the organ of government that performs the vital role of advising the government on policies and deployment of human, material and financial resources for effective execution of government's policies, agenda and developmental programmes, participants should assimilate the basic concepts of the training and put it into use in discharging of their duties in the service.
Speaking earlier, the Director Human Resources, Mr. Oladele Akinrolabu urged participants to take the training seriously as there is reward for every hard work in the service
The induction training is for newly recruited officers on Grade Levels 03-06 and Grade Levels 08-10 in the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation.
