The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management has presented CIPMHR Icon Award to the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, in recognition of her tireless efforts in reforming the public service.
The award was presented to her at a grand ceremony held at Fraser Suites in Abuja over the weekend.
Speaking before the presentation, the President of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, Mr. Wale Adediran said Dr. Yemi-Esan was being honoured for instituting far-reaching reforms in the Public Service that emphasized capacity building, a new performance management system (PMS), Digitization of the service for optimal delivery, Innovation in service, focus on the welfare of civil servants, data analytics and culture-transformation, among other critical strategic focus areas.
In her response, the Head of Service, Dr. Yemi-Esan thanked the Institute for deeming her fit for the award, adding that this would spur her to do more for the service and the Nation at large.
She stated that the Institute is a worthy partner with the OHCSF in its capacity building programme on strategic planning and performance management.
