HOS COMMENDS MINISTRY OF HEALTH ON SPEEDY FACILITATION OF PMS

The Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, CFR, has applauded the Federal Ministry of Health for taken the lead in the implementation of Performance Management System (PMS). She said that the Ministry is working so hard to meet up with the Office of the Head of the Service of the Federation (OHCSF) in PMS execution.

She gave the commendation while receiving the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Health, Alh. Mamman Mahmoud and his team from the Federal Ministry of Health, who came to the Office to showcase their developed software on PMS on Thursday 10th, November 2022 in Abuja.

Expressing optimism that the implementation of PMS for staff appraisal will be a success, Dr. Yemi-Esan said that Ministry of Health has gone ahead of the OHCSF on PMS implementation. She assured the Ministry of her Office’s support to ensure that they go live as soon as possible and also encouraged other Ministries, Departments and Agencies to follow suit.

In the presentation, the Ministry showcased a system software developed to facilitate the successful execution of PMS, which has the following features; PMS Staff Appraisal, PMS Access Control, PMS Data Management Resources and PMS Operational Data Resources. The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Health disclosed that the Ministry will go live before the end of first quarter, 2023.

It would be recalled that AIG-Imoukhoude Foundation has promised to reward the first Ministry to follow the path of the OHCSF in automating its workflows.
